Health Data
FQ uses Apple's HealthKit framework to read workout and activity data, such as active energy burned.
- This data is accessed only with your explicit permission
- The data is used solely to calculate your Fitness Quotient score
- Health data is never transmitted to external servers
- We do not have access to your HealthKit data at any time
Data Storage
All app data is stored:
- Locally on your device
- In your private iCloud storage using CloudKit
This storage is encrypted and managed by Apple, accessible only by you via your Apple ID, and not accessible by FQ developers or any third parties.
We do not operate or maintain any external databases that store user data.
Data Collection
FQ does not collect:
- Personal information such as name, email address, or location
- Health or fitness data outside of on-device processing
- Usage analytics or tracking data
There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data.
Third-Party Services
FQ relies only on Apple-provided frameworks:
- HealthKit for health data access
- CloudKit for optional data syncing
These services are governed by Apple's own privacy and security policies.
Your Control
You remain in full control of your data:
- You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the Apple Health app
- You can delete app data by removing the app or managing iCloud storage
Children's Privacy
FQ does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
